Hello World!
Starting with posting some useful links, this Blog gonna be my journal about stuff I learned / discovered during my work as developer while dealing with C#, WPF and Scrum.
Some words about me. I’m a thirty years old C# developer from Hannover, Germany. I had an three year education as digital media designer with focus on web development with PHP, JavaScript and MySQL.
With help of Charles Petzholds “Programming in the Key of C#” book I did some self-education to become a C# developer with .NET Framework and Visual Studio back in 2004. Until 2009 I worked on a digital signage solution with an ASP.NET AJAX web frontend. This was an important step away from “scripting” over to programming. With my hands on Martin Fowlers “Refactoring“, Kent Becks “Extreme Programming (XP)” and “Design patterns” I started my career as application developer.
Back in 2008 the company I worked for started to do Scrum and I loved it from day one. It goes hand in hand with the agile approach from XP.
In the late 2009 I moved on to working with WPF. No more optimization for different web browser but a lot of new pitfalls from WPF.
And here we go. I decided to share my daily WPF grind and setup this blog.
